Get to know us

The Bangladeshi Women's Association Limited (BWA Limited) is a non-profit organisation based in Tipton, West Midlands. We are dedicated to empowering women in our community and addressing inequality, poverty, and deprivation in Sandwell. Established in 1984, BWA Limited was founded by a group of enthusiastic women who aimed to meet the social and economic needs of their disadvantaged peers, young people, and families in the Borough of Sandwell. Today, we provide a range of services to the community, including language learning, health and lifestyle support, community fundraising, and more. Our unique selling point is our award-winning community center that serves as a hub for our programs and activities.

We believe that by empowering Bangladeshi women, we can create a better future for our community and beyond.
